I agree with you. It's very hard, but not impossible. It's just gradual and slow.

Glad we never had that right, though. I can't even call it a right, I would hate to have it.. It would be an anarchy. We haven't had one single shooting like this since the beginning of our history (our country), hundreds and hundreds of years ago. Do we have more sane people than the U.S.A? I don't think so. I think mentalities, are different, yes, education too.. But at least for me, having the power to own a gun changes everything..

I would just like to point out that there are plenty of countries with legal gun ownership that have much lower rates of gun violence than the US. And in countries like China and Australia that do not have legal gun ownership or have very strict gun laws they have very high rates of other violence like knife violence.

I come from an American family that doesn't own guns and never will. We are big on gun control not gun rights or whatever people want to call it.

Guns are not bad. I come from a family of hunters and fishers. It is not abnormal to want to provide food for your family.
