Do you think they can turn into decent lasting relationshipes? Would you ever pursue a relationship with a one night stand? Obviously I say yes to both questions because I married and have a son with the only one night stand I attempted! But curious what others think?

My husband and I started as a one-night-stand.

I thought I was gonna end up as a one night stand or a f-buddy for SO. I even screwed up a lot of our relationship because of this. But fortunately I was not   were still together 6 yrs later.

Yeah I get a lot of crap from Dh because I hooked up with another guy in the beginning cause I thought it was jsut a fling... oops

I told my best friend "Welp- I actually kinda had a crush on that guy. Too bad we slept together. Now it will never go any further... Sex too soon ruins the potential of a lasting relationship..." Haha... here we are now, 5 years married. Lol

My SO started out as a one night stand. We got drunk and I went home with him. The next morning we made plans to hang out again and he said he would call me. I honestly didn't think he would, but he did and we hung out a couple of days later. We've been inseparable ever since. We've been together for almost 2 years and have a 4 month old daughter.

Also, my only other long-term relationship started out as a one night stand haha. We were together for about 3 years and remain good friends to this day.

Yeah me too, I did the same thing. I traumatized our relationship and hurt our bond. I feel awful and regret it. I feel like I ruined what w expulsion have had sometimes. He has never been the same since I told him what I did. I mean I didn't have to tell him since we weren't "together" but after we were in a relationship I felt it was the right thing to do so there wasn't always that between us. Obviously that backfired

Awwe haha!! I had been used by so many guys so I figured why would he be any different?

Oh DH knew from the start. I was actually seeing the guy DH worked for and he set up the one night stand (long story) So the guy I was sleeping with was the guy I was supposed to be with. They both knew about the other. We just all figured the one was a now and then thing.
