Relationships that "move quickly".

If you were in a relationship that seemed to move forward and get serious in a time span that was considered not so normal, how did it go? How did you guys meet? Are you still together?

We're still together. Its only been 5 months though. But damn I love this man.

I met my SO at work about 5 and 1/2 years ago. We talked for 3 weeks. We hate two dates, and ended up moving in together. (Yes, we're nuts) We're still here.. happy as ever!

My husband and I dated for six months and he proposed and we got married at 10 months together :] We are very happy and expecting our first baby! When it's right it's right :]

Me and my husband met almost 7 years ago. We moved in together after only dating for 6 months. Found out I was pregnant 2 weeks after we moved in together. Got married after dating for 2 years and now we've been married for almost 5 years and have 3 daughters together.

We met at a wedding. I moved across the country to live with him after one date in person. We go pregnant 9 months later. And we just got married two months ago. We have a daughter and have moved across the country twice together so far. We just bought a house. We've been together 2 years and a few months. It's been amazing so far.

I met my BF through my best friend from middle school-- he was one of her best friends so it was pretty easy to see that he was a great person.

We moved in together after a few months, that was a little over a year ago. He's my best friend, and we still love to be around each other.

I think he's the only person I would feel comfortable doing this with, though. I normally am a big proponent of waiting. Didn't listen to my own advice... but it's working out so far. haha


(Oh, we went on our first date Memorial Day weekend of 2011, moved in together at the end of 2011)

Got pregnant 3 months after we started dating. And were still together 8 years later.  

i met my BD 4 years ago, moved in after knowing each other 3 months. i got pregnant with DD by failure of BC, and things went well.. we decided to TTC for babt number 2, im 31 weeks with her, and he left me when i was 10 weeks.

Me and DH met in Sept of 2010 were engaged in April 2011 and got married in Aug 2012... Not sure if that is fast or not (people told us it was) but we are doing well haha

I knew dh for about 6 years before we got together, but we weren't close or anything. Anyway, when we got together, we moved in with each other within a month   it was rocky for a while, but now we are married with one DD, and another on the way.

SO and I meet seven and a half years ago when I started working for him. We started dating 3 months ago and he followed me to India! Some would say that's a little fast, but he makes me so happy.

We have known each other since 2004, when we were 13. I never would have even thought of dating him them lol.
In 2011:
Started dating in February, along with some casual sex.
"In a relationship" on May 24th 2011.
He had met DD earlier in the week.
Moved in together in July (it was my place or back with his parents because he was having troubles with his apartment owner people.)
Bought a mobile home together in October, fixed it up, started talking about marriage not too seriously.
Moved in End of October.
Engaged December 20th (or maybe 21st lol).


Marriage is estimated to be May 24th 2014.

my fiance and I met at church. he friended me on fb in april of 2010 aand we went on our 1st date( it was a double with a friend and our kids) and have been inseperable ever since. in oct of 2010 we moved in together and it has been great! I have no regrets on how fast we moved.
