re: Relationships that "move quickly".

Omg this sounds more like us. Haha. He seriously already wants me here all the time. He lives an hour and a half away so this is the second time I've stayed over night with him. He said he was going to wait until after Valentine's day to ask me and we're still going to wait and see what's up with us then, but it's really tempting to just be here.

Why do you feel like an idiot? My story seems "worse" (as far as how fast we moved) than yours!

Did you have a child when things started up with your guy? I have a 15m/o in the picture too and it just all seems so extreme. =[ I don't want anyone to judge us for it because I am just so god damned happy right now. I don't want to be naive and cliche and say this is just so different but it really feels that way. I'm crazy about him.

Yeah, we met online. Talked on the phone for over a month cause out schedules weren't adding up. But when we finally met, I spent the night. Like three or four weeks later I moved in with him and went off BC so we could see if I was gonna have a normal cycle (pcos) because we wanted to try for kids and new it might take a while. The month after going off BC we got pregnant   and engaged <3.
We moved really fast but I wouldnt have it any other way!

No I didn't, but honestly I would still have done everything the same.
I just "knew" and had such a different feeling with him than anyone else.

I could hug the smurf out of you right now. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who's felt this way! Congratulations on everything you guys have been through together.  

I met DH for the first time when i was a freshman in HS, i had a crush on him but he moved. I ran into him twice over 4 years. Actually started using facebook and in september 2010 saw a sad status from him and messaged him. We started texting for a week or so. He came to visit me October 4th, 2010 at my college dorm, asked me to be his GF the next day and we were inseparable since. He moved into my apartment in January 2011, we suffered a miscarriage the end of January. He proposed to me in February, we found out I was pregnant in April, got married in October, had DS in December 2011 and here we are over 2 years later and going strong

That's kinda like my story. I left parts out so it wouldn't be so long. Hubby was an Internet hookup by mutual friends for my friend. When he got to her house (weekend long party) he saw me then her. His bro was dating the mutual friend n hooked hubby up. Hubby was super disappointed it wasn't me. He dated my friend for 3 months. She got obsessively clingy n he let her down gently. she turned on me n blamed me for sleeping w him behind her back (I was still a virgin n I'd never have done that to her. I was casually dating 4 other guys, didn't need another!) I told hubby what happened n he said if she was gonna accuse us then fine lets just do it. So (on AIM) he gave me 24 hrs to accept his offer. I was floored. He was so confident n straight forward I was intrigued. I thought about it until "time" was up n decided to try it. Rest you know. Never regretted that decision, ever. I told him he'd have to wait a yr for sex n he was bummed but understanding. I laid all the cards out that night- what I was looking for/expected. no games, wanted to settle down (just turned 19). we slept in the same bed but didn't have sex until like 9 days later (his bday gift for his 21st). He lived in DE n I was in PA. We couldn't stand the distance.

Honestly don't listen to what others say and trust yourself. Every person and every relationship is different. My brother new his ex wife for 15 years and dated for 2. They didn't even make it 19months married.
Timing has nothing to do with it.

My husband and I have been knowing each other since we were little( about 12-13) becuz his grandma and grandpa lived down the street from me then he moved back down the hill with his mom n dad, a few years later Jan 28 2012 he finds and messages me on fb I was really suprised he found me, so we started talking getting to know each other a little bit better went to his apartment hung out then he met my son the next day instant bond between them two   he took me to Las Vegas for Valentines day weekend to see his mom and he wanted me to meet her so I was like ok, the day of valentines day he asked me to be his girlfriend after that he would not leave my house for the life of him he wanted to stay so I told him just move in if he doesnt wanna go home, May 12th he proposed to me at the Cheesecake Factory( our fav place) an we found out in july we expecting #2 in March which is just in a couple of months( cant wait to meet the little one) and we got married September 14th 2012, we have been doing great ever since I love him with all my heart wouldnt trade him for the world, been together for a year going on Feb 14th

Aside from the fact that he's sweeter, nicer, more compassionate, and he has his smurf together more than any guy I've ever been with... he has his own house that will be paid off in a matter of months, he's held the same job for like two years. He's in the Memphis Metro area but the area here is SO nice. Amazing schools, better job opportunities than my rundown little hometown in Arkansas. Plus, it's away from people that I REALLY need to get away from. The whole situation sounds so much better for me, my daughter, everyone involved. I really want this and I really want him. I've just been let down so much and it just feels like it shouldn't be this easy. =[

DH and I met on a double date with my ex (his best friend) right before he went to basic. Didn't see or talk to him again for over a year. Then when I was 8 months pregnant with DS1 we started talking on myspace and then hung out a few times. Got together January 15th, 2009 and got married May 9th, 2009  

Yes we did! SO and I met a few years ago through mutual friends...both of us barely remember it lol. We met again almost 2 years ago through the same mutual friends and I say we magically clicked haha. Started hanging in May of 2011, we were official in July 2011 and moved in together after 2 months of dating. We now have a 4 month old and are still incredibly happy after not knowing each other long, moving in together and having a baby.   We've had some ups and downs (mainly my horomones lol) but we're in it for the long haul. And the more time goes on...we find ourselves loving each other more and more. NEVER thought I could be so happy especially how fast we moved BUT we are! It's an awesome feeling.  

After 3 weeks of dating, DH and I moved in together, then after 4 months, we got engaged and married. We've been married 4 years now, coming up on 5 in August

I understand that! I was married before met DH. He lied to me the whole 6 years we were together, we even tried to have a child (even tho he never really wanted kids and lied about that). I was devastated when I found everything out. When I met DH I felt like it was too good to be true and no way he could really be everything he was. But he is all that and more  .
