re: Relationships that "move quickly".

Got together sept 5th, found out we were pregnant nov 30th (on purpose) and DH proposed (he had the ring for two weeks and popped the question the same night). We got married after we had DS though. But everything is wonderful and we have been together over 2 years. I couldn't imagine my life any different.

Dude 'n I met in college (he was just getting outta the navy, finishing his BA- 9 yrs older than me) 2009.
Got pregnant within the month.
Tried to make it work.
Hellish two years of custody crap 'n etc.
Back together now, expecting baby 3.

I've been talking to this guy for a few months, met him online and all of that. I wasn't sure if I was ready to date or not so he was just a really nice friend to me for a while. One day a few weeks ago he basically said "Get ready, we're going out." and we did. Haha. We haven't even been dating for two weeks, but everything just feels so right with us. He keeps saying he would rather me just stay here and I would honestly love that, but the only reason we're really holding back is because we both want to be adults about it. Lol. He's really excited about meeting DD, and really, I am too, now. I'm so happy. I can't remember the last time I was this happy. Ugh. I could really gush on him, but for now I'll just leave it at that. Haha.

Dh was supposed to be a one night stand. I met him on a Friday. Never intended to see him again. Found out I left my wallet at his house. Went to get it Sunday. We hung out briefly. Then I saw him again Thrusday when he stopped by my base. After that we were together every Friday, Sat, Sun night hooking up. Soon it was all weekend (I stopped going home during the day) Then It was all week. Then we basically lived together. By two months into it I was pregnant. Found out 3 months into it. Decided to just kepp our relationship as it was and not force it because of the baby. Ended up that we were perfect for each other. Got married a day after the day after our 1 year aniversery. Worked out perfect. If we hadnt gotten pregnant I would have moved to VA and him to LA so We would have never gotten to be together. Everything happens for a reason right  

I met my fiance on myspace (when myspace was the "thing). We talked like a month before we started dating then I got pregnant 4 months after we started dating (big surprise!) we have been together 3 years 1 month now and are expecting a little boy in May

i met SO early Aug 2011 on Plenty of Fish, met in person mid Aug 2011, got married by JOP December 16 2011, moved across country to Alaska to live with him in Feb 2012 (hes military and i met him on his leave before he PCS'd) then we had a big wedding and told our extended family we were married Oct 13, 2012 and are still going strong. lol I mean he annoys me but whatever. lol

We met in April 2005 and immediately started to date. We got engaged in August 2005, moved in together in October 2005, decided to start trying for a baby December 2005, had our first December 2006 and we are currently pregnant with our fourth baby. We did not get married until October 2008 but we are still together and still very happy. We only talked for a day or two before we decided to start dating and when we started to date we did not expect to be where we are now. We both were in it for fun and not for anything serious but that quickly changed and we could not be happier.

I married DH after a year of dating.. and after 5 months of being engaged.. been together for 5 years and happy happy ^_^

My husband and I moved in together like.. the day after he asked me out lol got married a couple years later & have been together almost 6 years now  

I met hubby while he was dating my friend. He broke up w her n asked me out. When we met up I had planned on only staying one night but ended up staying all weekend with him. One month later he moved up to my state n in w me n my parents. 3 yrs later we got married. Going on 9 yrs together (almost 6 of those married). We are very happy. Only regret is that we waited much longer than we wanted to be engaged bc we were afraid of what ppl would say. (We met in oct, we wanted to get engaged that Christmas but he gave me a promise ring instead).

DH 'officially' proposed on my birthday, 8mo after we started dating...but we both knew going into it that it was forever. We got married a few days after our 1yr Anniv. this March will be 10 years [married]...for us, it worked out beautifully.

But, my best friend met and married her ex-hubby after 5mo, they were together for about 8 years, separated almost 2 years ago and still going through a messy divorce. So who knows, why it works for some and not others...!?

Lol we were the week after :p. ppl said we were nuts (mostly family).
I met him online and went home with him (we didn't sleep together) the first night I actually met him in person :0. My father bout had a heart attack. I was 21 but had never done anything like that before so he was pissed.

I was hoping there would be more people in my situation. Haha. Now I really do feel like an idiot. Thanks for all the great stories though! Really happy for you ladies.  

My husband and I met at Walgreens. I was picking up my daughter's medicine and a friend asked if it was alright if he met her up there. We've been inseparable ever since. We got married a month later and are still going strong 2 years later. I didn't know it was possible, but I love him more with every day that passes.
