Ultrasound today

So i get my first ultrasound today to confirm the due date & i gotta drink 32 ounces of water and not pee   i pee sooooo much this pregnancy im going to explode!

if your less than 14 weeks you have to drink 32 ounces of fluid to get your bladder full in order to see the baby better.

I never had to do that with either pregnancy, is what I'm saying. Lol. I had ultrasounds at 10 weeks with my son, and 8 weeks with this one. It seems like cruel and unusual punishment to make a pregnant woman hold in 32 ounces of water... ha.

They always make me empty my bladder completely before ultrasounds. Good luck with that!

I agree, I've never heard of that either. I'm 9w+5 and I had an u/s at 6 & 8 weeks and they actually had me empty my bladder before it was done.

I hate having to do that.

They told me to do that with all my pregnancies. Sometimes my bladder is so full that they tell me to go and not to empty it all the way. That sucks! Have fun at your ultra sound
