Wool peacoat?

If you were to buy one, what color would you choose? I can't decide between red and black.  

Black - goes with more.

I would choose grey or black. I have red hair though so a red jacket and my hair wouldn't go well together. What's your hair colour? That might help people decide.
If its blonde or red pick the black one. If your hairs dark brown or black pick the red one.

Deep down I really want a red peacoat, but...I would settle for black.

Mine is a dark heather grey, I have a black one too but feel like the grey one works with more outfits.

My hair changes color but during winter (when I'm wearing it), I keep my hair a dark color.

I'm not really concerned with it matching. My winter wardrobe is very neutral colored. Grays, blacks, tans. If I wear color, it's dark so red isn't going to mess with anything.

But I always get black so I'm stuck.   I'm so glad this is the hardest decision I've had to make so far this week.

Take the red one than.

Red. It is more va va voom and you can spot it in a group.

I bought a teal one and I love it. I also think red ones look lovely. Black is 'classic' though.

Then I'd go with red.

I'm so excited. My coats have always been black or brown.
