38 wks I want to be induced

I everyone! On friday ill be 39 wks with my first pregnancys I went 1 n 2 wks after my due date and I had to be induced. But this #3 pregnancy I'am so so tired and I been having lots of contractions this week some are painful. Tomorrow I got my docs appt do you guys think if i tell him they can induced me next week?

Depends on your doctor. Some will, some won't

Why not just wait until your due date? Hopefully you go into labor before or on your due date. But if not I'd personally wait until at least my due date to be induced.

Plus I know at my doctors office that unless it's medically necessary they will not induce you until your EDD.

Do you know how tired you will be afterward? Remember? lol

If you are having contractions now, chances are labor is around the corner anyway and it would be best to just let it come natural.

Anywho, it all depends on your doctor. Some will refuse to induce until you are overdue and some are fine with 39 weeks. It all depends.

If you went overdue, the last pregnancy, and you have no change in cervix right now, i think they would. I have to have a csection, which the last two ive had were done at 38 weeks, but when i go in, im going to ask about having my c section done at 38 weeks again, i physically cannot handle the pain anymore. So i think you should be good! As long as you have a good doctor!

Tough it out. I went to 41 weeks with 4 days of labor. If I can do it so can you.

All these problems started happening after i got pregnant, ive had a very rough pregnancy, think you should mind your buisness if you dont know whats going on.

A good doctor would refuse the induction not just give the patient whatever they want even if it puts their child at risk. Inductions = higher chance of c-section and other complications.

Won't hurt to ask. Either way you are almost done so try to relax and enjoy sleeping at night, lol. Those days are almost gone!

OP-if you want to, ask! Good luck. The last part of pregnancy is the worst, I cant imagine having other kids to take care of too. You lo is cooked....you've done your job!

Well I wanna think I can have the baby natural before due date but I got 0 chances since my last 2 babys past their due date( well that is wat i think). This time i got a diferent doctor the one I had before with the 2 babys he always wanted to wait after due date. This doctor I don't know. My husband's sister in law goes to the same doctor and she is also due the same date as me and they gave her Jan 15 as the date she will be induced. So I guess ill just till tomorrow. Next week friday ill be 40 wks

I had a rough pregnancy and didnt whine to my doctor to give me a c section at 38 weeks. Excuses....
