how to travel with breast milk.

I am driving from Missouri to northern new York on Monday. So how do I travel with frozen milk. Can I put it in a small cooler and it be OK? I'm very clueless.

Yup put it in a cooler and make sure it stays ice cold the whole time. You may have melting though. Do u plan on keeping it frozen or using it ASAP? How long is the trip?

The trip is about 16 hours. I think I'm going to pump in the car and feed him. I would like to keep the milk frozen. But I will use it if I have to so it doesn't waste.

I would use the frozen milk to feed him if it tarts to thaw and put the fresh milk in the cooler. Because u can still freeze the fresh stuff if I keep it cold. U can't refreeze unthawed milk.
