maternity meltdown

posted 9th Jan
I just had an epic meltdown because my favourite pair of maternity jeans fit everywhere but over my belly.
What the smurf?
Is it normal to become more emotional at the end?

Yeah. That's normal. I cried while I was eating gummy bears because they were so cute I felt bad for eating them.

Mmmmm...bagel.
I know I was more emotional with my first two, but I don't remember wanting to throw tantrums over really stupid stuff. I was actually sitting on the edge of my bed crying over the pants, then I started crying harder when I realized I was crying over a pair of pants. Oooooh pregnancy...

I've been close to tears over cravings I can't satisfy. About two months ago I wanted sweet tarts so bad you'd have thought I was a crackhead needing another hit. It was absolutely pitiful.

Oh for sure. I once had a breakdown while watching How I Met Your Mother because Barney didn't complete one of his challenges. And I also had a meltdown in the DMV because I didn't have the right paperwork. It was bad lol.

I cried last night because I finally finished all of my laundry and then my DH took a shower and put his dirty clothes in the hamper... , I was all "it was finally empty *boohoo* *sniffle* *tears*"
My perfect DH replied with "Do you need me to go get you chocolate or ice cream?"
I love that man!

I'm 38 weeks and I (a person who hardly ever cries) broke down sobbing yesterday afternoon. I called my husband at work crying, asked him if he was busy, he said yes, so I hung up on him. He was SO worried about me. Thank God my best friend decided to stop by at that exact moment. I felt so dumb for crying so hard, (I was mad at my OB's office), it was the first time in five years my friend had ever seen me cry like that. I'm going to go out on a limb and blame it on the hormones!
