UUGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

My mother and I are starting to eat better and started exercising, It has only been three days. Before we started this I was eating horrible like pizza everyday and I would never gain an ounce. I didn't plan on weighing myself sense it's only been three days but my mom weighed herself and has lost two lbs already. I decide to step on the scall and I GAINED 1lb   why? I'm ready to go back eating my pizza and junkfood, at least then I didnt gain anything

Muscle weighs more than fat, so maybe you just gained muscle.

Also, are you getting ready to start your period, OP? I always gained a pound or two before AF.

I thought maybe it was water weight? I don't think I would have gained muscle already.. And I'm not suppose to start for another two weeks :/

everyones bodys goes up n down 2 lbs all day with what your eating and such.. so really shes hasnt lost and you havent gained .. my dr always told me more then 2 pounds to be able to say that youve actually gained or lost !

I've heard that before. I weigh 140 in the mornings and 142 in the evening. You fluctuate in weight everyday. This why some suggest weighing yourself at the same time to avoid confusion.

OP, you may have also just gained water weight. Sometimes the body holds in the water for a week or two and then when the body realizes that it's not actually starving, it'll shed it. Or it could be close to your period. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Keep at it and you'll lose the weight.

I just wish I never would have stept on that dang scale. I didn't except my numbers to go down only after three days but I didn't expect them to go up either! I only gain myself in the mornings.. I'm gonna keep pushing myself and not let it get to me to much and I'll hold off on weighing myself again for awhile!
