registry goody bags?

did anyone get a gift for starting a registry? i signed up online for babies r us and walmart and didnt get a gift bag? my mom sent me this article on getting free gift bags for registrys

was i not supposed to sign up online? should i go back and ask for a gift bag?

You only get them if you register in the store.

I got one when i registered at Babies r Us. It had some good stuff in it!. Go down there with your registry and say that you registered online and that you were wondering if you could get a goody bag!!! Couldn't hurt!

Agreed. I git a bottle and one pair of disposable breast pads and a coupon or a photo session at jcpenny. Nothing worth crying over

hmm, okay i will try to go back in. my friend got a bunch of good stuff in her bag, she said diaper samples and pacifier and stuff too

Target had sent out a thing during the holidays, but i have bought maternity stuff online and have a card to them. It was if i registered w them i got a 20 dollar gift card and the standard free goodie bag.

I got one for Buy Buy Baby, I registered online but also went in to the store as well and that's when they gave it to me.

what did buybuybaby give you?

today my ob office had little samples of diapers and lansinoh gel

Nothing special in the goodie bags. I registered at Babies R Us & Buy Buy Baby.

Babies R us gave me a couple of magazines (which I'm already subscribed too, so I have them already), a sample of breast pads (it had two in the package), a cheap pacifier, sample of desitin (not in a bottle or anything. It was literally in a package you rip open to use. One time use), and I think that was about it.

Buy Buy Baby was basically the same thing. I did get a baby on board sign from them....but I already have one and the one they gave me said Buy Buy Baby on it in huge letters.

You're seriously not missing much. I wouldn't get all cray cray over little sample bags of nothing.


EDITED: I also got ONE newborn size diaper in my Babies R Us bag. Huggeis brand. Nothing special.

I don't believe they do. I've been there a million and one times with both pregnancies, I honestly doubt they do.

You can try asking though.

When i registered at Babies R us i received: a full size of A&D ointment , a carters 3 month long sleeve onesie, a NUK pacifier,tons of those scented saline boogie wipes a sample pack of wipes! I thought it was worth it! I also think it depends on what the manufacturers give them to pass out also! Just depends on when you go i think!! Could be wrong tho! The real thing to sign up for is the similac strong moms at similac.com!! I got at 1.5 lb tub of similac advanced formula , a medium sized can of the sensitive tummy formula and one of their new bottles!! I wasn't expecting such great full size samples!!!

okay, yea thats what the article said, to sign up for the formula companies.

I called motherhood maternity and they said they do give a free gift bag with first in store purchase, hmm maybe ill get some preggies pops.
