re: Just learned I'm being induced at 34 weeks

I was hospitalized at 34w 3d, for the start of pre-e. I'm Type 1 diabetic; the first u/ s the day I was hospitalized measured 6lb 3oz, without her head (she was very low, they couldn't even get a circumference or whatever they do to measure it). I was induced at 35w 5d, she was 7lb 12.5oz and 21 inches long. No NICU time, no help or interventions of any kind; we're very lucky and blessed. I hope you have a similar experience and get to take your baby home right away as well. Good luck <3

i had really bad pre eclampsia and had DD at 35weeks she weighed 4lb 6oz didnt need and help breathing. she had feeding tube in for 3days and we were home exactly a week after she was born. only problem she had was jaundice. shes 9 weeks now 7lb 6oz and completely healthy. good luck. xx
