Powdered sugar is generally mixed with cornstarch, wheat flour, or calcium phosphate to improve its flowing ability, and thus it is not generally used to sweeten beverages.

Why add sugar in it at all? I make kool-aid and have for years and I dont even put sugar in it at all. And when we go places and ppl serve my kids kool-aid with sugar they think its nasty. lol

Its my taste that does not like sugar in it at all. not for health reasons.
