re: nuchal translucency

I have heard of things like this happening, and everything still turning out ok, so hopefully that gives you something positive to focus on in the meantime. I know it's hard Jenell, but think positive. These tests have high false positive rates. I'm said nurmerous prayers for you today, and will continue to do so. You know we are here for you day or night. Love you!

Honey - Nika's was measured 4 mm at first. Turns out the US 'specialist' was a douche. It was actually 1 mm at the time and 1.5 mm when I got the test redone a week and a half later.

I'm hoping for the best for you and Bean. You two are in my thoughts!

I am going to get the test redone on next Friday (well a level two). I am just worried because it is more than double the thickness it should be  

don't worry, I'm sure everything will turn out to be just fine... I will keep you guys in my thoughts for sure though! cute little ultrasound photo! I haven't had a single ultrasound yet this time and won't until 20-ish weeks *pouts*

We're all praying for you. I know everything will turn out to be fine. There are tons of false positives with all early pregnancy screenings. I'm certain that's all this is.  

My best friend had that test and her's came back with a one in three chance of having a baby with Down's. It might make you feel better to know that she now has a happy health, totally normal 22 month old. Good luck

My friend was told her baby would be down syndrome until he was born...not down syndrome at all.

your baby bean is in my prayers, hopefully you just aren't as far along as you thinkn and thats the reason! good luck and keep us updated.
