I am :n alabama, the Bible belt. We are the buckle on the belt lol it is mainly southern Baptists and seventh day Adventists. Christians are 99% majority here. I have grown to accept the judgement and ridicule.

I mean I get the concept I do. I get the concept of all religion. If you believe in nothing then what is stopping you from killing and raping and stealing? People need to know there is an afterlife nd that their positive actions on earth give them a reward: to live with their maker in some amazing pain free place.

I just don't believe God would box himself into one religion and say any human who does not believe is doomed.

What do you believe? Its tough being surrounded by Christians . Idk if other religions are so condemning. I don't get why people can't just accept others for being different instead of trying to make everyone believe that their way is the only true way and everybody else is wrong.

I know not all Christians are this way. And I truly think they are just worried about my soul but there are times when some things just don't need to be said.

I mean the whole teaching if Christianity is that if you do not accept Jesus Christ into your heart as the son of God who died for your sins then.you will not make it to heaven. It sets people up to judge and segregate.

Showing someone doing the right thing is the good thing, doesn't have to be taught with religion and an afterlife, though.

Yea you are right

I think a lot of people just don't get that God is not the least interested in theology. Only that we love others. Judgemental people no matter the religion are self deceiving thinking they are winning points with God by preaching their intolerance to others but the reward for that will feeling the pain they caused others. Anything that is the opposite love serves no good purpose either for others or the self.

I don't know. I want to believe there's something bigger than myself. I want to believe Ill see my daughter again one day in some kind of afterlife. But I just can't wrap my head around it sometimes.

I don't know what I classify as. Like I said, I struggle with it.

It sounds like you are agnostic. With all the research I have done and just observing things around me I believe there is much more to life than this reality but I don't follow any religious organization and I believe we are born then die but come back again in another flesh.

I have christians, agnostics, and atheists who all think Im crazy for my differing beliefs. It hurts but you get used to it

yea i dodnt classify as anything. in my heart I feel there is a higher power that I call God and I know I am supoosed to do right by what is in my heart and conscious. but really I am unsure about anything else other than i dont think God can be boxed into one religion and every other one is condemned.
