I think everyone on my fb has or is getting the flu. Idk what is going on!

My daughter was sick last week for about 5 days. Temperature shot up to 107 I about had a heart attack. Seems like everyone is sick right now.

OMG   I would have died. Was that at home temp? I don't think I would have a clue what to do besides call an ambulance.

Yeah I took it with one of those themometers you just swipe on the forehead. I checked it right after I gave her ibuprofen. Took her to the ER and luckily our hospital has a separate ER for kids so it was really quick. Her temperature was done a lot by the time we got there and the doctors didn't seem concerned. I was freaking out because I had a temperature that high as a kid and I was in te hospital and couldn't remember who anyone was. I figured there was something bad going on luckily I was wrong. Turns out she just had the flu.

My bestfriend was 20 and had a fever of 106.8 and was like hallucinating  
She got really sick from a tick bite.
I couldn't imagine that on a little child

I rushed DS to the pedi bawling my eyes out when the thermometer read 102 lol   It was the first time he had ever been sick and he was 16 months old and I over reacted, so I know what you mean! Hope she gets to feeling better soon!

It's under 100 degrees now but I'm sure it'll spike in a few hours again. I'm going to let her sleep with me so I can check on her and get her meds to her faster.

DD is 3 and still hasn't really been sick. She's had a runny nose once for like a day. She's around sick kids all the time at daycare, she just never seems to get it! Idk what I will do when she actually gets sick
