I am due in March and I just let all my teachers know by e-mail what my due date was and that I could go early and they said they would work with me and made sure to let me know everything that would be due around that time so I could hand it in early. I plan on letting all my teachers know. Most of my classes they give you all the work for semester up front and you can do it at your own pace, but there are only so many hours in the day, ya know? My classes start next week and I keep checking hoping some of my teachers will open them early so I can get to work asap. I'm taking small business management. I had accounting last semester and that was my least favorite class of all time and I love math. It was an 8 week class and it sucked balls because I have no experience in accounting and my time was cut in half. I still got an A but it was the worst 8 weeks ever. I had DS1 at the very end of a semester and I had one teacher who dropped me from an A to a D over one assignment I didn't get turned in that was worth the same percentage as all the other assignments. I was really angry because he KNEW I was in the hospital. Said I should have figured out a way to get it done before I had him   I tried to get all women professors this semester in hopes they'll be more understanding.

I would have spoken to the dean about that according to my school they can not use medical reason or labor against you and they are suppose to work with you and be understanding if anything is late and allow you to make it up.

The semester ended and grades couldn't be altered before I realized he gave me such a low grade over that one assignment. I was mad at the time but that school has screwed me so many times I should have expected it. They tried to screw me again this semester and I went to the president of academic affairs and got it sorted out, but not without pissing off all the head chairmen of my department   Since I passed I just let it go. Had he failed me it would have been another story. Dropped my GPA to a 3.5 though

Lol I am the same way I hate people messing with my GPA I graduated with high honors with my associate’s degree and want to get at least that with my bachelor’s degree or president’s honors.

I've decided I'm gonna stop at my associates because around here having a bachelors in my field isn't going to get you enough pay extra to make up for the extra loans. My tuition is less than 4k a year and going to a 4 year school would be 10k a semester here, so no... lol.

What are you majoring in?

Computer Information Technology with a concentration in programming. It's one of those fields either you know your smurf or you don't and the degree doesn't matter that much. I only kept going after I got hired on where I am now because if I have any degree at all I get bumped like $3 an hour off the top and top out a lot higher than the pay grade I'm in now. I have no plans to leave this place for another job any time in the foreseeable future, if ever and I won't get any benefits out of a bachelors that I won't get with an associates.
