Husband wants to nane our baby that if we have a girl. I like it, but it's after a video game so I'm having a hard time taking it seriously.
On the plus side its not common :p

My guess would be Ky-Ree. Kai is pronounced ky.

Unless you are japanese, do not give your child a japanese name. Some languages you can get away with, Japanese is one that unless you and or your SO are japanese, you really look ridiculous using a name.

I think it would be something that would be mispronounced a lot and she would always have to spell it to people

Actually I agree. Now that I looked up the meaning and everything. I'm going to try and convince him with Kylie. Similar but not Japanese xD

Omg, lol. Me and my boyfriend talked about having our girl name as Kairi because of that game too. But only because we heard it from off there and liked it, Not as if one of us is obsessed with the game though. But now I see a lot of people name their girls that so I don't want that as the name if we ever have a girl, I like names that a lot of people don't have.

Ya were not crazy obsessed either I also always thought the name was cute but just not for my kid haha I know wed get smurf forever bring those people who named their kid after a video game. And that's crazy! It's really that popular now?! Well that makes my decision easier

I've seen some people on here with the name but also whenever we told my boyfriend about the name she said she has a ton of girls that come in to the health department she works at that have that name.
