Mucous Plug at 9 weeks?! TMI

posted 8th Jan
So with my son, my mucous plug never came out until like 36-37 weeks. I'm 9 weeks right now, and (tmi) my vagina sneezed! Being that I had my son a year and a half ago, I remember what it looks like.

I've been cramping and not feeling pregnant at all..I've actually already scheduled an abortion..refer to my previous posts please.

I'm just wondering if this is a sign of miscarriage?

By the way!...
I haven't been trying to miscarry or anything, so please don't start drama about that.

Right now you just have to wait it out to see. If nothing has happened by your appointment go to it. That's really all the advice I have sorry.

I never passed a mucous plug with any of my miscarriages. Good luck with everything.

I was told that you can actually lose your mucus plug different times during your pregnancy. Apparently it can regenerate.

You can lose plug at any time and it regenerates itself. It's not an indication of miscarriage or anyhing.

If it was just mucus then it was probably just increased vaginal discharge....

Yeah, I even just read that sometimes a mucous plug doesn't even exist at 9 weeks?

This pregnancy is very odd to me.
No symptoms except a missed period and some occasional nausea.

Lately my lower back kills, I have light to moderate cramping, and now this mucous plug looking thing. I'm just confused.

It's probably just a lot of discharge. I had a lot of 'extra' discharge early in my pregnancy. Then it settled down once I hit my second trimester. I don't believe you have a plug until a little later. I could be wrong on that though.

Also, IF it is your plug, it grows back. I lost mine a few times with DD. So far I haven't this time around.
