I had that with Pre-Eclampsia. Is there any way you could check your BP real quick? Like, head to the grocery store or something if you don't have a BP monitor at home?

Both can be signs of pre-e.

Sounds like pre-eclampsia. You should go to L&D ASAP if you're having blurred vision.

It sounds like that to me as well. I would call your OB in the morning and let them know you're having these symptoms. Good luck mama.

Well if there is no way, I would spend the rest of the evening taking it easy and laying on your left side. If you're having blurred vision like that, I would honestly assume your BP is elevated. Laying on your left side can help bring it down a bit.

"Vision changes are amongst the most serious symptoms of preeclampsia, usually requiring immediate evaluation by a doctor. Changes in vision may be associated with central nervous system irritation, or an indication of cerebral edema (general swelling of the brain). Vision changes include temporary loss of vision, sensations of flashing lights, auras, light sensitivity, and blurry vision or spots.
What you can do...
If you experience any of these changes in vision, you should contact your doctor immediately or go directly to the hospital. We stress that these symptoms are potentially very serious and they should not be left unattended to until the next morning, or particularly not until the end of the weekend. With preeclampsia, it is better to err on the side of caution, than to take a chance that might become life-threatening to you or your baby."

Found similar info a couple different places...

Sounds like pre e but theres a chance it couldn't be , iv been having these symptoms to high bp of 120/90 which is high for me cause my bp is never over 100/60 . Blurry vision seeing glittery spots , headaches , fairing and swelling I got tested and everything came back normal . If your face is swollen it can mess with your vision . Call your ob and make an appointment for the next day to go check and be on the safe side , pre e is nothing to mess around with . You can also stroke out . Good luck to ya sister will pray for you !! Keep us updated

I would get hold of the on call Dr at your hospital. Pre e can be dangerous to you and your baby. Or just go to the er! If your BP is elevated and not gotten control of...not to scare you, bit the worst CAN happen! Go see a doctor!!!
