random puking?

last night my son, who is 29 months old, went to bed around 830 as usual. around midnight he woke up screaming and had thrown up a little in his bed...
he was red everywhere and very warm with a fever...
i changed his clothes, and he begged to go back to sleep. so i laid him back down after some ibprofuen, then he puked again.
so once again i changed him, and he wanted back to bed. then he puked a ton everywhere.... pretty sure it was everything in his system :-/
so i let him sleep with me, and he slept the rest of the night fine.
he had a fever at one point today, but it left. hes still acting kinda weird, but hasnt gotten sick

just curious as to what this may be? my daughter never did this..

Probably just a 24 hour bug, I wouldn't worry unless it goes on so long he becomes dehydrated.

Sounds like a virus to me. There was a stomach bug going around here a couple weeks ago that DS caught a very mild form of. Most the kids around here were throwing up and had a fever.

thats what i figured, just strange it hasnt happened all day. hes been eating and stuff just fine. hopefully whatever it was is gone

yeah we had that here too... probably what it was.. so im glad he only got a mild dose of it
