Different place different rules. Also there are exceptions to every rule. If there is a medical reason then the rules are different.

I am not saying do it or not do it. You are that baby's mother and the choice is yours. I wish you the best of luck.

There are exceptions but she'd have to do some searching to find a doctor that would deliver a breech baby. It's pretty rare and only a few high risk doctors would attempt it.

Personally I wouldn't attempt it but to each there own. And I agree that she would have to find someone to do it.

Which is painful and difficult and doesn't guarantee she'll turn.

Forget about inducing and focus on the fact that she's breech. No one is going to do anything but give you a c/s if she stays that way.

They tired to turn my oldest niece because she was breached. In the end she was born via c-section. However my sister's water was leaking. So she had a medical reason.

They can attempt to turn the baby, but it doesn't always work. It's called a version ... there's a longer name for it than that. It's only successful about 20% of the time depending on the dr. I was seeing an extremely high risk dr so i'm guessing she does a ton of them. My youngest didn't turn until last minute. I missed out on all of the 'fun' of getting him turned. lol Guess he just wanted me to sweat a bit.

The point is though, they'd have to do that and be successful before most dr's would induce.

Side note .. I wouldn't have tried delivering a breech baby either, but I have heard of it being done. I did do a vbac though.

Either way hes gunna do it though, and I was told it wasn't painful. He's just gunna do it from pushing on my belly I guess? But regardless he wants to try it weather I choice to be induced or not.

You can wait. Just like I did with my breech daughter.

It's extremely uncomfortable. Have you ever pushed really hard on a body part sticking out? Imagine doing that for a fair bit of time. I've never had an inversion done but when I had an amnio done, they had to manually move her because she was in the way of a good fluid pocket. It was extremely uncomfortable. The amnio felt better than forcing her to move.

Yeah that's what I heard too. I just didn't want to say that. lol The high risk dr told me it was going to be extremely uncomfortable. I've also heard that women are all bruised and stuff afterwards.

TRUST ME! you DO NOT want your baby turned....unless of course you want to be in extreme pain, bruised up and let down when it doesn't work!!! just wait it out your baby still has a chance of turning with in the next week or so.
