FFS!!!!!!!

I am so ready to just lock myself in my room and give up on trying to discipline this kid.
HE COMPLETELY IGNORES ME!
listens to everyone else of course.
I thought Id finally got through to him about not climbing on things and not going into the fridge.
Nope.
He opens the fridge, i tell him to close it, he looks at me, continues staring into the fridge, i get up, he tries to quickly grab something out and run.
He isnt hungry, he isnt thirsty, he doesnt NEED anything out of there.
Same with taking his chairs to stand on to try grab scissors, ect.
I have had enough, he just looks at me like 'yeah i aint gonna listen to you!'

You sound really wound up.

He's just a toddler. You are an adult. He is exploring and testing boundaries, not out to make you miserable.

Take a few minutes to yourself, do whatever you have to to get it. Plop him down in front of the TV if you must, but you are going to get nowhere fast if you're frustrated and ready to pull your hair out.

Distract him with something else. Play with him outside. Put him in the bath (always calms mine down). Go for a drive. Play a game. Cuddle on the sofa. Anything, just get him away from the fridge.

He's focusing on the fridge because he knows it's getting you riled up, which gets him your attention. Give him the attention AWAY from the fridge so that it doesn't keep becoming a battleground. Every time he goes near it, just remove him from the kitchen entirely. Not punishing or aggressively, just a simple, no-drama removal. Eventually he'll get the point that not only does messing with the fridge get him no outlandish reaction from you, it gets him removed from the kitchen entirely, which he probably doesn't want.

i mean the gate at the top of the stairs, lol, we had to put a second lock on the other side so he definitely cant open it now.

He stopped touching the fridge for ages and now he is back to doing it.
