Weird question about changing tastes...

Weird question; has anyone noticed things they used to like tasted weird to them during pregnancy? I used to love whole wheat but last night my whole wheat tortilla tasted weird... I thought it was 'cause they were a bit old. Today we had whole wheat noodles and they still have the same weird taste. x-x It sucks, I'm hungry and I can't handle these noodles anymore. I gotta find something else to eat. >_<

lol most definitely. I had the same thing happen to me tonight! I was eating at one of my fave local restaurants and uh I was eating what I always eat and I was like "wtf, why does this taste so damn weird?!" I feel ya mama

Oh yeah. Meat always tasted off, especially seafood. I normally hate the taste of milk but during pregnancy, it tasted like heaven.

Yes.   a lot of the things I liked pre pregnancy taste off to me.

My all time favorite, Dr pepper tastes naaaasty right now. Which isn't a bad thing because I've completely cut them out.

All things chocolate taste like burned cookies to me....which is unfortunate since valentines day candy is all over lol

Well piss and vinegar. Time to heat up some crappy condensed soup I guess... Hubby made shrimp scampi but I can't handle those noodles anymore. boo. lol

yes tastes do seem to change during pregnancy. I've noticed with all my pregnancies that food tastes bland. I salt everything and I usually never use salt. I can't drink vitamin water because all I taste is vitamins. until my 4th pregnancy, I never liked beef, now it is my favorite meat!

Pepsi tasted like metal, scrambled eggs smelt like a wet dog, American cheese tasted like what a nasty refrigerator smells like   everything tasted different.

So weird, I wasn't affected at all with my first pregnancy... I know each pregnancy is different but mannnn is this one different. X_X

It happened to me with shrimp. I used to really like it, and when I got pregnant I couldn't stand the taste or smell of it. I made shrimp alfredo tonight for the house and ended up making myself a sandwich.   Last time I made shrimp linguini I would take the shrimp out before I ate the sauce & noodles.

Everything tasted weird, water had this weird sweet taste not a good sweet taste either, it like combo of sugar and sweaty socks. I could only drink it of I squeezed an entire lemon in it lol

Eggs have always smelled like wet dog to me. lol
That's so weird that someone else thinks that too.
