Interesting debate topic?

For my English class I have to write a 6-10 page research paper, it has to be either for or against something. Our argument topic is due on the 14th, the paper is due 4 weeks after that. After we turn our paper in, we will also discuss our topic in class. I'm drawing a blank... Marijuana legalization, prostitution, same sex marriage & immigration have all been done to death in her class so I want to do something different but I can't think of one I like enough to devote the next month of my life to. Help?

Btw, she said NO ABORTION! Everyone just ends up going in circles & people get really worked up over it.

I saw a thing on tv about portugal, how its improved alot since decriminalizing all drugs, tripped me out, people were sitting by a water fountain just smoking stuff lol even the courts were like oh yeah it great, rehab is offered to people, but no tixs or jail, saved alot of money there...
