Our neighbor has a 5 year old named Parker. It's a girl

Parker definitely screams boy.

Jean if you say it like gene, is girlish. But if you give it the cajun pronunciation it's almost like John. I like Parker John though.

I love the name Parker for a girl.

A girl. My mom's middle name is Jean.

If I was having a boy I'd either spell it Parker Gene or have people pronounce jean like John.

Parker, boy.
Jean, girl.

Parker: Boy
Jean: Girl

When I think Parker, I think boy.. But jean sounds like a girls name

A friend of mine just had a baby. Didn't have a name picked out until the last second and named HER Parker. I went and visited the baby yesterday and just can't get over the fact that they named her Parker. Idk. To me that's a boys name and doesn't belong on girls. They have a older daughter with a feminine name so I expected their newest addition to also have a feminine name. Totally threw me off. Oh well. It's their kid! With the siblings names together, it sounds like a girl and boy. I wouldn't have done that to my children.

IMO Parker only suits a girl. Its too girly to put on a boy. I would hate it on a boy.
