Sick kids and visitation.

When your kid(s) has visitation with their dads and they're sick, what do you do? Keep them at home or warn their dad and send them on their way?

I usually keep him home..then again his father hardly ever takes him and doesn't care either way.

They go to their Dad's

When DH and I were separated...They went to their dads but he called every other hour to update me and if they were horribly sick they would stay home. Just depended on their illness and seriousness of it.

She's been throwing up and has had bouts of diarrhea all day. I kept her home from school. Depending on how the night goes I'll be keeping her home tomorrow, too.

Her dad picks her up from school on Wednesday, keeps her overnight, and takes her to school on Thursday.

I'm not sure what to do.

With that I'd let her stay with you. Hope she feels better soon.

hen rob is supposed to have his daughter and she is sick, she sometimes still comes. the other day, she had a fever, so she didn't come an that was fine. but usually if it's just something minor, she comes anyway. their agreement states that the child only is supposed to miss visitation if he/she is hospital bound or something. but it's really up to the parent who is getting the visitation to agree to ti or not, you know? since she had a fever, he said it was fine that she stayed home, but then they are supposed to figure out another day for him to have her. so.... it's kind of up to you. if she's pooping and puking, i'd keep her home, too, as long as her dad was okay with that, and then just set up another day that week when she is feeling better.

She went to school today and I warned him that she was throwing up and whatever and he said that was fine, so she went.
