college momma's

This is going to be my first semester as a mommy and college student, and I am a little scared, I had to drop out before for financial reasons, but am starting back on Monday and I am so nervous! I got my schedule today and I have mostly lab classes (3) (online work at my own pace) but 2 of my classes are lecture classes, and they are always so boring! I just hope I can do this! I just ordered my books and GOD they were expensive, even just for rental!

Words of encouragement anybody??

You can do this! I work full time, go to school full time..and have a 4 year old and 7 month old. I start my classes up again February 6th. All my classes are online. I am halfway through my associates.

Darling if I can do it with 3 kids running around and baby in my belly and taking 5 classes you can too!!! I start Monday as well and my books (used) weren't horribly expensive but somewhat.

yeah I work also, plus am on a new exercise and diet plan. And I have a very VERY active 2 year old lol!
I am picking up where I left off for the most part, 16 of my class credits were able to be transferred over from before, but I have to retake one since its a new curriculum. I just really want to do this!

I workout almost every day   ....Just have to set a routine! You got this  

And my four year old NEVER ever ever ever sits still lol. He is constantly doing something unless he is asleep. And my 7 month old is almost crawling. He gets into everything already and if he gets bored I have to hold him or he will just keep screaming lol.

Oh and it never hurts to plan. I am a planner and try to have a routine down (doing online classes) and try to map out my coursework schedule due dates and homework time. Time management is awesome to learn to use I have a calender and planner and use the clock on my phone.

lol, I know what you mean, my 2 year old is such a handful, my main concern is the cost! The campus is a 20 minute one way drive, plus the extra expense of my materials, student government fees, etc, and having to bring a lunch everyday. I just hope I do well.
My dd is in daycare since I do work, but I am concerned with a few things, my schedule with work and school works well, but then I don't get out of class until 4, and I have to pick her up by 5 so no time for the gym on those days : ( which sucks! but my hubby said he may could work out with his boss to get off 20 minutes early so he can pick her up... just hope that works out!

I'm a college mama and my first semester I totally flunked everything. The adjustment to homework, and having a baby was very difficult. But now it's coming together, and I did really well this past semester. Can't wait for the spring one to start!

And I am a stickler for organization and time management lol! I have everything in its place, for the most part lol, right now my house looks like hurricane season, but thats cause dd was in the hospital all last week and I have not had time to clean yet : (

I'm nervous with starting up again! My work is always super slow and I work 9 hour days...so I can do the majority of my homework here! And they don't care either..so that is pretty awesome and helps lol

That's such a good thing to have. At my college they have work study jobs in the computer labs, and it's just sitting in front of a computer for 8 hours a couple times a week. And getting paid. I have applied for the stupid job so many times because I could get SOOO much homework done.
