About a month ago I noticed that my 6 month old had a swollen area on the back of her head, right above her neck on the right side. There are now two - one on each side. She had her 6 month checkup yesterday and the doctor told us they were swollen lymph nodes and then left. The nurse was giving her shots so she was screaming and we couldn't talk anyway, but I would of liked a better explanation. Is that normal? She isn't sick or anything... why would she have swollen lymph nodes on her head?

The left side is bigger, but they are big enough to the point of where they almost touch in the center of her head. They're noticeable for sure, even from a distance. The right one has actually gotten smaller, but the left side is much bigger.
