Miscarriage and ovulatiom

posted 8th Jan
Don't think it's possible but just a curosity question. If you have an early miscarriage is it possible to get pregnant before you start bleeding from the miscarriage? I hope that made sense.

No I don't think so.

No. If the uterine products haven't been expelled, you can't get pregnant. A lot of women get pregnant before they get their periods, though.

Its possible to concieve again while pregnant so I don't see why not. Really depends on how far along the pregnancy is.

What are you talking about? Unless the woman has two uteruses (uteri?), that is not possible.

Yes you can. I had a MC January 2012 and got pregnant 5 weeks later. I never had a period in between. The Dr told me that your brain thinks you are still pregnant so It will tell your body to keep dropping eggs. That is why so many people go for there 6 week check up and find out they are pregnant again.

My friend has twins, concieved a week apart. I've read that's possible.

They weren't actually conceived a week apart, they were most likely just measuring a week apart. Measurements aren't always accurate, and a lot of the time with twins, one measures bigger than the other. That doesn't mean one is older.

Thank you. I think that is what I was trying to explain.

That could be what happened. But I have heard (from my first ob) some women still ovulate the first two months. Idk how that's possible but she said it is. So idk. Anything can happen.

It is remotely possible, just extremely rare and unlikely. Occasionally a woman will ovulate while pregnant. Look up Julia Grovenburg. It's called superfetation.

You don't ovulate when you have HCG in your system though.   It sounds like you had a miscarriage and after it completed you caught the very next egg. That's very common.

Thank you. You worded that so much better than I did.
