PP appt/Birth control

Little man is 6 weeks old today! ;shock:

Next week I go for my PP appointment, and to get birth control. I've never gone to a PP appointment before.. do they have to check things down below?

I'm also torn on what to do about birth control. I like the idea of the Mirena, being 5 years and not having to think about it.. but I've seen plenty of women get pregnant on it, or continuously bleed. I don't want to do NuvaRing - it made me bleed for weeks on end when I had it as a teenager. Can't do a patch. Won't do an implant or the shot. So that leaves a pill.
Has anyone taken Yaz before? That's the one that you take for 3mos straight, right?

I have a copper IUD for the second time. Works great for me because it has no hormones, I didn't do well with the 2 types of pills I took.

Maybe paragaurd??? Idk i hate birth control so since we are done vasectomy it is.....

My period are already long and heavy, I don't want something that will increase it.   That's why I liked the idea of the Mirena, but I'm too nervous to get it. With my splendid luck it would get imbedded into my uterus or something.

I was going to get my tubes tied right after Noah, but DH was like, "So.. that means we can't have any more?" And since he had the slightest bit of doubt, we decided against it. The thought of another pregnancy right now scares the living daylights out of us, but we don't know what we'll feel like in 5-6 years.

I was on beyaz after Tatiana. It has a folic acid just in case you get pregnant. I'm getting the implanon.
