Walking in your last month.

I'm being told that I should walk a lot... im now 37wks; 2 days && Aalayah tried coming at 35wks but they stopped it. I have contractions every other hour, but not consistent smh. What does walking really do for you in the last month? . I can barely walk around Walmart without hurting lol ;

It can help jump start labor thats how i went into labor i was walking around a mall for 5 hours it kinda makes labor easier not a lot but a little bit mine wasn't as bad as i thought it'd be but i walked a lot.

I think it helps with making the contractions start coming on. Once I hit 37 weeks I walked constantly and it made me contract and dilate and once your in labor it helps you contract more to.

How far were you && how long after u walked? 5 hours is sooo long lol.

That's not true at all. Nothing can "jump start labor". Nothing will induce labor.
Walking is for when you are already in labor. It can help to dilate you further and faster.

My doctor said that was what started my labor cause i almost went into labor earlier due to walking they had to put me on bedrest
