pp blood clots

When should i be worried i hadnt had any since i had my little girl , im 5 days pp now and just got one that was pretty big imo , when should i be worried ? How big is too big?

I was told golf ball size to go in and get checked.

I was told anything bigger than a toonie. Wait if you're not Canadian, that doesn't help. It's a little bigger than a dollar coin.

It was not bigger than a golf ball but if it does get that big should i go to the er or call my ob?

If you are worried, go ahead an call. I think the biggest clot I had was the size of a nickel and that was after my oldest was born (I also bled for nearly 8 weeks but couldn't go to my PP appointment because my insurance got canceled). With my baby I don't think I had any clots bigger than a pencil eraser.

Golf ball sized clots are not good. Mine gave been big, it's scary lol but not that big

I had a day or so that I bled pretty heavy. It was about a week after delivery. I called my midwife and she said it was normal. It's just working it's way out. I was told that it was good I was cramping, like menstrual cramps, and breastfeeding helps. My clots got as big as a half dollar almost. She said that was because when I sat down it pooled and made clots (gross I know) but it was normal. But you should call your ob and ask so you are assured. It does help. It only lasted about a day and said as long as I'm not filling a heavy pad in less than 30 mins I just needed to rest and chill out for a couple days. I rested for 2-3 days and felt loads better.
