How Do You Pass On a Stomach Virus/Flu?

Something is horribly wrong with my stomach.

My whole stomach is in pain, I feel pukey (though I haven't thrown up yet), and I keep running to the bathroom.

I'm hoping it's something I ate, but I'm also aware a stomach bug is supposedly going around.

What are the symptoms of a bug vs food poisoning?

I'm TERRIFIED of giving Lo a stomach bug. How do you pass it on? Is it airborne? Should I avoid kissing him, and wash my hands, etc?

Avoid kissing and too close of contact. You should be washing your hands on a regular basis anyways.

It's probably a bug. Yes, it's been going around. Unfortunately, unless someone takes LO out of your house for the whole duration of your sickness, she's susceptible. But not everyone you come in contact with will get it. I gave it to about 15 people, but strangely, neither of my kids got it - knock on wood.

The virus is in your mucous membranes,
Eyes, Nose, Mouth and such.
So anytime you contact any of those you wash your hands, You avoid breathing directly on to your LO. Avoid sneezing on your LO.

Just as you would with a cold which is also a virus.

I wash my hands too much as it is, so that shouldn't be a problem

this, it is also in your vomit and feces so be sure to wash your hands and sanitize your toilet often

And smurf, smurf, SmUrf ... I was kissing Lo yesterday ... I got symptoms today.

Does a stomach bug come with a fever? I'm fine besides my stomach being a disaster.

A day and a half.

Ick. Good luck. I gave LO the bug last year.. =/ It lasted like a day-2 days for me and like a week and a half for me. The worst of it is the poop.
