We're not getting tax money, but I am getting my settlement, finally.
So far I have money portioned out for the following:

Paying ahead on rent
Setting up our internet
Getting everything we need for the baby
Laptop
XBox 360
License
Vehicle
Clothing and Shoes
Finishing furnishing the apartment
And a DSLR camera

The rest is getting put back.

Pay like 3000 towards my mortage
new recliner and ceiling fans for the house
money for vacation
clothes for spring/summer
new tires for my car
&& the rest in savings=)

We are definitely getting a new bed. This head is AWFUL!

Pay off the truck!
& whatever left goes in to savings and emergency funds.

We just did our taxes two nights ago and apparently we are going to get $4,000ish back. Holy cow!

With that being said, it will all end up in savings like any other extra money we have. I can't think of anything we need anyway.

Pay SO debt off and save rest for a down payment on a house obviously not enough but jut for savings.

Oh and fix SO's car and mine.

A new used car, something that gets good gas mileage because the suburban is killing our $$
Pay off some bills
A nice camera
trundle bed for the girls
Tablets for the kids
Giving my parents $1000 because theyve helped us out while i was on maternity leave so im paying that back plus some extra

SO will most likely be using his to pay off his tools and pay off some of his debt

Not sure what we are getting back. But were hoping/planning on paying off hubbys car then saving anything that is left

I bought most of my big baby stuff off of craigslist or from a baby consignment store which saves tons. The camera ive had my eye on retails 1200 & ive been pricing them used with the extra lenses (?) for around $600 or so
