this. I agree im due today and no baby. Of course everyone knooooows "baby will come when baby is ready" or "nothing will work if baby and body arent ready" or "patience itll happen soon enough" it seems like alot of women have forgotten what its like to be carrying a fullterm baby in your uterus. Its miserable and im sure almost every woman on here felt anxious at some point. Women on here are so rude and nasty. Op-i bounce on a birthing ball and take epo

I beleive I said that it wouldn't work, so it WONT hurt the baby. I don't know where your assumptions are coming from that I didn't already know these things. If you weren't being negative in this post I see no reason for you to respond to my comment. I read your original post and you weren't, but I know it's coming and few comments were already pretty snarky.

Good for you, want a cookie? No one cares if you went 40+ weeks. If she goes that long she does if she doesn't she doesn't, what's the point in bitching?

Dude seriously. NO ONE, I mean NO ONE forgets how miserable it can be. We just use our brains and understand that pregnancy takes 40 weeks or MORE. We all bitch and complain and hate life those last few weeks. But you DEAL with it because that's just what comes with the territory of being pregnant!

Suffering through the misery is soooo worth it in the end though. I went 42 weeks with my first. There are women on this site who would KILL to be 37 weeks and miserable.

And? Pineapple, sex, and walking are going to affect this how? Drs won't induce her that early anyways unless she does her own C-sec nothing is getting that baby out but her body.

Also, had I known she was only 35 weeks I probably would have told her to wait a few more months before attempting anything simply because she shouldn't WANT to have her baby out that early.

ETA-weeks, not months. YIKES! LOL

I know they aren't going to hurt, but it just doesn't make sense to offer any advice. I'm a real class a smurf though, lol. If someone's 39 weeks or more, I don't have a problem offering advice. Before then? No. I'm gonna speak my mind on how selfish I think you're being.

I'm an smurf though, so most people don't like my approach, haha.

God, yes.
These are my favourite types of threads though.
I always tell people I can't wait to get old so that being a bitch is more socially acceptable, lmao.

walking helped speed the labor processes for me. when i went in to be induced, i was 2 1/2 cm dilated already. and because i wasn't in much pain, i was the last on the list to get an epidural so i walked the smurf out of those halls with all of the extra time i had. but if your cervix has thinned at all, you'll just have to stick it out :/ as hard and uncomfortable it is, try to relax and enjoy being pregnant. you will miss it once it's over.

It makes no sense to be selfish when it isn't about you anymore.
