re: How much on groceries?

It says you live in NY, I imagine everything is way more expensive up there lol.

This is making me feel better. The more I can not eat my money, the more gets into savings for a house down payment. I do coupon a little, but I don't understand how people save money if they buy a lot of stuff they barely use.

Me and my SO probably spend around $200 weekly on groceries.

It`s more then we would NEED to spend but we buy all healthy.

It seems the healthy stuff is so much more expensive! Which completely sucks.

We buy 75% organic, 90% whole foods and still only spend $3-400 a month for 4. Eating healthy doesn't have to mean expensive.

We eat A LOT of fruit.
I make a fruit salad every night, and its gone by the next night. I eat it all day, and put a big fruit salad in my SO`s lunch. Probably where a lot of it goes.

Ive always wondered how people possible spend more than a 100 bucks a week on groceries for families of four or less. For myself, my son and sometimes my boyfriend when he comes over to eat, I spend MAYBE 50 a week. I grocery shop every 2 weeks and a average trip is $75...and my cabinets are FULL

Cost of living... prices are different everywhere for the same things.

Not everyone eats the same..I buy all fresh foods, only thing you would find in my cabinets is cereal and pasta.
Also cost of living in some places, such as BC, are VERY high.

We spend about 100-150 every 2 weeks on grocery for the 4 us, myself, S/O, our 2 year old and our 8 month old.
