Pocahontas

They're having this Princess movie week thing on Disney channel, so yesterday the kids and I all watched Mulan (they both loved it).

Today, Pocahontas came on about 10 minutes ago and Serena FREAKED.   I was in the kitchen making lunch, and I dropped the spatula and ran over when I heard her and she was standing in front of the TV with her hands over her eyes and screaming. Big tears. The kind of crying that make it hard to breathe for a minute after, because she was hiccuping. It was only at the opening song. Nothing scary happened. The Captain guy hadn't come out yet or anything.

I had to sing to her to get her to calm down and then put on Sesame Street.

She's fine now, but I feel really bad. Who knew Pocahontas would freak her out that badly. I still don't know why it did.  

  Poor baby. It's pretty crazy it freaked her out like that. DS has watched it, and he doesnt like it. He gets bored with it pretty quickly.

I don't know why it freaked her out so badly. We watched Mulan yesterday and she was fine with that.  

At least she seems to have forgotten about it now.
