Here the only factor in anything when cheating happens, is who pays spousal support, if he cheats he pays it, if she cheats, she pays it. Thats it.

If court find anyone of the parents unfit to parent full time (custody battle) its the judges decision who gets full custody.

I believe in the U.S the one cheated on can get more money but that is about it. It can actually be really hard to take away parental rights. In most states you have to have someone else willing to adopt child before you can sign away rights, aka you have to get married again.

Hell my friends bf adopted her dd 2 yrs ago, just before their son was born. They are not married, lo's dad is on the bc, and he didnt sign anything at all and still pays support for her. She has her moms bf last name too.

ah Lucky. My oldest nephew has never even met his biological Dad and he is twenty-two now. His biological Dad wanted to give up his rights, nut they had to wait for my sister to get married again. It was such a hassle with the courts.

Realy thats stupid. The court doesnt strip deadbeat parents of their rights there?
My oldest dd's dad had his rights taken wawy when she was 2 yrs old or so. And was ordered to pay child support still. But he quit his job like 2 months later and been on welfare ever since. That was 8 yrs ago or so....dd is 10.5 now.

It will if parent(s) are abusive/neglectful, but not just for not paying child support or not being apart of child's life. Both my sister and her ex were trying to get his rights removed. They both knew he wasn't willing or ready to be a father. My sister did finally remarry five years later, and he signed his rights away in court.

what do you mean 'get your papers out'?
maybe you should call the policed. simply tell them you have been held there against your will this whole time and you just want to go home. were ya'll married in the us or canada?
