We had our anatomy scan today and it looks as though we will be adding another little girl to the family! We thought it would be a boy, but are totally thrilled for our 2-year-old daughter, Hannah Marion, to have a little sister to grow up with

So now the task of naming this little one can REALLY get underway! Our top contenders are...


Just FYI, Jean is my maternal grandmother's name and Rose is my MIL's middle name. And June is a name I like and will probably only use if she is born in the month of June, lol.

I kinda like Penelope Rose.

No joke.. this morning I thought to myself I want to name my baby Juliet Rose

Charlotte is such a pretty name, so is Juliet. But I agree Penelope Rose is beautiful.

I like all of your names honestly! I like June better than Jean though personally, though it's not as sentimental as Jean.

That is my feeling too - I really never considered Jean as an option until quite recently, but our first daughter has a name from DH's side of the family, so I wanted to either use a family name from my side or not a family name at all (which is when I came up with the idea of June).

Genevieve Rose, although Juliet Rose is a very romantic, Shakespearean name.

I'm trying to convince SO that that's going to be our baby's name. Lol

Juliet! It's beautiful and a personal favorite of mine. I can't use it it's too close to my mil's name and I am in no way naming anyone for her. So I vote for that name. But I would give her a middle name for your side of the family. I wouldn't name for the same side twice in a row.

i'm due June 14th with another girl... we haven't named her yet either! LOL

Maybe just wait until you see her and it'll just come to you! They are all beautiful names so you cant go wrong with any of them
