What is up with my son's chin? -pic-

Ignore the milk mustache and ketchup in the corner of his mouth. lol He doesnt act like it bothers him. It looks dry. He has been doing this new thig where he gargles his juice and some almost always spills out. Lol I thought it was the acid in the juice doing it.

Any ideas?

Skye used to get little rashes there when she was super drooly and teething.

Has he been drooling a lot? Just looks like an irritation from clogged pores.

It looks like he could be drooling a lot or rubbing it too much. I once rubbed my chin almost raw when I was 5 from spilling things or getting things on it and rubbing it off.

My niece has eczema and that looks similar to it also, but if he hasn't had any issues with that then there isn't any reason to suspect it.

It's really not, they're are some pretty gross pictures, but it's a dry flaky rash. It is really contagious though. Typically takes a cream for it to go away, either way id call the pedi and see if there is anyway to find out what it is dr sure and what can be done about it.

My daughter has the same thing, it comes & goes. I think its irritated by something she eats but I havent noticed a pattern so I have no idea.

Is there anything I can put on it? I've been doing a&d ointment but I don't think it's helping.

Was this to me? LOL. If it was, my SIL buys over the counter eczema lotion, nothing too fancy. Just make sure to keep it lotioned and don't let him scratch or rub. My SIL and I (I watch her during the week while SIL is at work) keep a super close watch on her when she's having an outbreak (or whatever it's called) so she doesn't scratch.
