The only thing we haven't been able to fix yet is the fence in our backyard. It was knocked down (one set of the panels), and we're still waiting to hear if our neighbor's insurance will cover it (a shared fence.) It happened right when DH lost his job, and there was no way we could do it. Thankfully, they have repeatedly told our rental agency that it is OK and they don't mind because they don't have any pets. I feel bad, but the inside and everything else is in immaculate condition.

We have had to do that with my 5 year old. Anything that's still out of place after the allotted time goes in a trashbag for a week. Though it's not uncommon for me to open the storage room 6 months later and find it. Haha

Oh yes. It was so drawn out and loud, lol. I was on the other side of the room (like, gym sized...) and had to get his attention ASAP. Everyone turned and looked, realized what had just happened, and lost it laughing. Good times.

That's good to know! I have pictures of the floor on my phone so I will probably call and tell them to fix it asap or call the Health Dept.

That is my 4 year old. She's playing with her brother in his room and keeps telling me, "Mom, I've got this."

Honestly this house is a piece of smurf. Our basement only has one heat vent so it's basically useless in the winter. EVERYTHING is covered in beer from the previous tenants. The walls are DISGUSTING, the counter is separating in the corner, the fridge and sink leaks, etc. We rented this house since it was the only option on the side of town we're willing to live in that would fit our family.

I have gotten it relatively clean but I hate using the kitchen. It's gross. And I have spent probably days (collectively) trying to scrub it.

I'm sorry. Our house is adorable, and we're incredibly priced for the location. We needed tenants ASAP so we went low on it, our tenants are great and they've stuck around for almost 2 years now though, so I guess we made the right choice. I miss our home though, it was beautiful. Simple, but perfect for us.

No worries. Mine has too. I'm constantly telling my husband that the baby ate my brain. Sometimes I look at my posts and think "I swear I'm smart, what the smurf!?"

Awwww. I remember my oldest going through that. I was so heartbroken, lol. I'm secretly afraid this baby's gonna love daddy more than me. When my husband came into our lives, both my girls had "to hell with mum" attitude

We want a rental property in the future!! We have lived here for almost 2 years but we don't feel like moving until we buy. We want an apartment building and a house or two.

Haha that's how DD is with me lately. I mean it's super awesome that she is independent but I miss my wittle baby!!
