Dilating ???

I’m 33 weeks Pregnant and having sharp pains in my pussy area I’m just sitting here And every couple minites it will twinge with a sharp pain could this be a sign of me Dilating or what could it be? Should I call my Dr.?

It could just be regular old pregnancy pains. I had some pains like that and was barely dilated to a one the day my water broke.

Well, I get sharp pains like that in my pelvic area, and also in my cervix....and I'm only 22 weeks.

i had that to but my doc.said it was normal

Probably not dilating... that is more of an ache. But when they baby starts to engage its head in your pelvis it can cause some sharp pains in your crotch. I went through this and even had a little bleeding at 33 weeks with my daughter, it was just spotting but I didnt like it! Turns out it was just some cappilaries breaking as Addie got her head nice and stuck in my pelvis! But yeah, I'd imagine your baby is dropping....

Once my children had engaged every time they would kick or move their head I would get pains as well. It is probly just the baby hitting your cervix?

It's not dialating it's the "joy" of pregnancy!

Yeah...the choice of words through me off...anyhow, I am getting them as well. You almost feel like the baby is poking out. It is just the position of the baby, probally head down pushing on something. It is normal and will continue. I didn't experience with my 1st, but I carried him different. With this 1, I have been feeling that since 28 weeks.
