Sex drive.. fixable?

I've got the implanon/rod in and my sex drive is non existant & has been since insertion... seriously.

I use to initiate sex all the time.. around 5 days a week easily, i was always very interested in making sure DH was happy & that we had plenty of intimate time.. i loved pleasing him & really enjoyed it.. i loved the closeness.

Now i dont initiate... ever.

DH is always the one making the effort & im never in the mood until hes 5mins into foreplay.. (sorry if TMI).

We have sex maybe 1-2 times a week & i feel horrible.

I love him, i find him attractive etc.. but my libido has gone & im wondering if i or the DR can do anything to get it back? - while keeping the implanon in.

Any advice mamas?

I feel si bad for DH.. he gently approached the topic the other night & basically wasnt sure how to ask for more sex/intimacy.

Sometimes he'll try to initiate & i blow him off - its that bad.

I know i'll enjoy it once we've started.. but its actually starting thats the problem LOL!!

Im not interested... but i want to be so badly.  

I didn't have the implanon, but when I had my iud it killed my sex drive. I kept it in hoping it would get better, and once it was removed omg. I was a completely different person!

I know EXACTLY how you feel.
SO stopped trying eventually and would just be like "Do you want to do it?" and I would tell him that I WANT to want to but it took too much to happen. The week I got it out... Never wanted sex more haha

Because we all end up abstaining from sex and can't be bothered anymore.

Im thinking of trying supplements etc.. like horny goat weed or things similar.. i have no clue if it'll work though.

I can't afford mentally to get the implanon out.. Im getting the copper IUD inserted as well as having the implanon because i don't want to fall pregnant again.

I have the same birth control and i haven't lost mine.

I definitely had the same problem with it and had it removed last month and I can for sure tell the difference. Lol.

i'm removing mine monday for this reason and i'd also like to ttc.

I've had the implanon for 2 years.. I wish it would have this affect on me... I'm single and have no sex life, but i go through plenty of batteries. I'd love to have mine lowered a bit honestly... But in your situation i understand how its kind of a bad thing.
