Fever went down but cough got worse

My sons fever is lower for sure but now he's got this barking wheezy cough. He isn't labored while breathing, his nose is completely clear, and he was sleeping fine until his door squeaked when I went to check on him. He went back to sleep but now I'm kind of wondering if its croup. He didn't have any symptoms until he woke up yesterday with a slight cough. Like I said he fell back asleep after nursing but should I wake him and take him in or just let him rest? I think at most his breathing was just kind of wheezy not stressed. Gah!! I'm the only one worried. SO is sleeping like a baby and I'm freaked out :-/

Could be croup or stridor. Try baby vicks on the feet at night

If he's hardly coughing should I just wait until the pedis office opens then?? Blah. My pregnant anxiety kicks my butt this early in the morning.

He sounds like he's just got upper crap and unless he's struggling to breath, I'd just let it run its course. Is he still eating/drinking?

He's hardly coughing and just acting like himself. He's a little grumpy but who wouldn't be :-/ he is eating pretty good. He had soup for lunch.
