Scrambled eggs

posted 8th Jan
The ER doctor told me to stay away from fatty, greasy and spicy foods because of my gallbladder until I can have it removed. Would scrambled eggs be ok for me to eat or will it make me have another attack ???

As long as you don't cook them in butter or something like that it should be fine.

The best thing I was eating for my gall bladder was spinach salad with boiled eggs, feta cheese, mandarin oranges, dried cranberries & a light vinagrette. It tasted great & kept things calm.

Just cook them with a little spray of pam or with no oil at all. I have 3 gallbladder attacks thanksgiving week & thought I was going to die. I would rather push out another 8lb baby than deal with that pain

lol i know exactly how you feel. DH was kind of shocked when I told him I'd rather recover from 5 more c-sections than have to deal with that again.

Yeah stupid me never went in to get checked when I would have them. I didn't even know it was my bullbladder until I was getting an echo on my heart & the tech decided to check for stones
I never had any attacks when I was pregnant which is strange

I had my first one while I was pregnant..lasted for about two hours. I called my doc because I thought i might be in labor lol. She told me it was indigestion though. So I went with that. It happened once more while i was pregnant...and after DS was born it happened like once a week but only lasted for like 10 minutes so of course i still thought it was indigestion. But when I went to the ER friday, smurf lasted for 6 hours straight...i thought i was dying

I thought it was indigestion or gas but before I was pregnant I would only get them once in awhile like once a month maybe. Mine last for hours, brought me to tears a few times
