Any suggestions?

My SO wants a name after some kind of god, or warrior, or something 'cool'. His suggestions so far have been Adonis, Titus, Zeus, and Achilles.   And I'm not a fan of any of those, at all.

Can anyone suggest any others?

Tell SO they all make horrible names and he can stuff it. Just find a nice strong name you both like and go for it. I hate when men do that. Like they know anything about naming kids.

I've found a lot of good names, he's shot them all down.   I'm really liking Asher right now, which I thought for sure was 'his taste' but I guess not.

I love Asher. That was on our list.
I'd just...keep looking.. this 'greek god' thing might just be a name phase of his?

Everyone tells him how ridiculous it is, but he's sooooo stuck on it. I'm going crazy not having a name yet.

Guys can know just as much, and several have better taste than women. Carrying a child doesn't trump a father's input. Yes an agreement should be made but to say something like that just is an smurf comment.

haha, i feel ya. we're about 80% decided on a name. neither of our first choices, but one we both love at least.

Honestly, Adonis isn't the worst thing i've ever heard, but still..

I understand, but that's about as stupid as my husband wanting a dead historical figure as a name. I wasn't going to have Benjamin Franklin _____ or Thomas Jefferson_____ Yeah, stuff it!

What is wrong with men? Do they want our children to be teased and tortured their whole lives because they wanted a 'cool' name. Yeah, no thanks.

And absolutely, carrying a child trumps anything. Sure, you can talk about it. But when dipsmurf insists on a god or a president, he loses his say.

Hubs is trying hard to get this one named Barnaby or Linus......... WHAT?!?! I want to beat him upside the head w/ a name book.

Adonis is probably the one I would choose, out of those, if I had to... but I really don't want to do that.

So I'm guessing you guys haven't agreed on a name yet either then? lol.

Honestly my SO did really good with my other two (Liam and Amelia) and it was soooo easy. But this time I honestly feel like he's being stubborn because he really didn't want another baby, it almost feels like he's trying to pick a weird name on purpose.
