This. If you must spell it that way spell it as she stated... I pronounce those names differently and madalynn almost seems like it has a stutter to it.

Madeleine is Mad-eh-Len which most people say Lyn
Madeline is Mad-eh-line

Madelyn, Madalyn, madilyn(n) All come from teh smurf tredyization of this name.

I almost named my daughter Madelyn. thankfully I realized what a smurfed up thing to do, and didn't. I'd be down at the court house changing the spelling PDQ.
