Quoting justanothamotha:" I agree but she's 17 - so they may walk her through it a tad more, I HOPE. I went to the ER during my ... [snip!] ... After that I never went back again. It was totally pointless & made the experience 10x worse than it needed to be."
Quoting I'm His Amy He's My Rory:" This is true too. Clots or stay home pretty much. I went in with my first pregnancy because of clots, ... [snip!] ... went in with spotting with 2 and 3 and it was useless. This time unless I'm bleeding to death pretty much I am staying home lol"
Quoting I'm His Amy He's My Rory:" I'm thankful I did my first time. It ended up being a tubal. Even then I didn't go in until I passed ... [snip!] ... in until I passed a clot or 2. The other 2 times my husband was paranoid and drug me in because of the experience the 1st time."I am all for seeing your Dr if you are having an issue, and they can easily do your U/S but ER is over the top IMO unless you are having a significant issue (and spotting isn't significant). Also, she's been 3 times according to her & they have checked the baby each time. So she knows she has an intrauterine pregnancy - so tubal should not be a risk factor at all at this point.

Quoting I'm His Amy He's My Rory:" I had no idea it was a tubal. I thought the pain was normal and stuff. And I started spotting and then ... [snip!] ... baby is dying inside you while you're in miserable pain ugh... Hah we live for it our son is named Rory William even "omg that is so freaking sad I couldn't imagine bless your heart.
Quoting Wolf Spirit:" omg that is so freaking sad I couldn't imagine bless your heart."
Quoting Angela Dukes:" when i started bleeding it was light pink..I went to the E.R they told me there was no fetal heartbeat. The ... [snip!] ... to be 12 wks.I had no cramping or anything but 3 days later i did have a miscarriage.I think you should see your doc ASAP!"I am sorry momma. It is quite normal for there to be a lapse in time between when a baby passes & when your hCg levels drop enough for your body to actually start the process of miscarriage. It doesn't mean there is anything you could have done differently if you had known sooner & a natural miscarriage is always preferable to a D&C if possible as it has the least chance of causing any long term issues with scarring & such. It is never easy no matter how it happens.

So I waited it out. In a tubal case you can't though & if you want to save your tube I am not sure there is any other options. I am sorry you went through that.

Quoting I'm His Amy He's My Rory:" Yeah, it messed me up for almost a year. It was rough. "

Quoting Brookelynbaby:" I had this now have a very healthy baby boy and 27 weeks preggers! I was 13 weeks when I bleed, they ... [snip!] ... a few weeks and NO SEX or masturbation.. Due to the bleeding. Hope to see you updating and have all around perfect pregnancy! "
